I am a junior at the Advanced Math and Science Academy in Marlboro. I am a hobbyist computer programmer and electronic tinkerer. I enjoy solving problems through coding and looking for better solutions. I am always eager to collaborate with others to make creative things.
Coding has been my passion since 6th grade. Every year since then I have taken advantage of every opportunity to grow my skills. This year I participate in my school's programming club where we use complex data structures and computer science theory to develop algorithms and solve practical problems at tournaments.
I also have an enthusiasm for Electronics, which began in 8th grade when I bought my first Arduino Uno. My most proud project is an Arduino based webserver which controlled my lights wirelessly via an Android app! Currently I am working with other students to communicate with remote control cars using familiar video game controllers.
Engineering is another area I like working in, this year I am taking a CAD course which will put me on track to take an engineering course senior year. I participate in my school's Ten80 racing team which builds remote controlled cars for different tracks.
